With Internet Marketing, it’s not always about finding keywords to drive traffic. I’m sure you have dozens of keywords driving traffic to your websites but the question is do these visitors turn into buyers?
If they don’t they all your keywords did was target nothing but the tire kickers. You know who I mean, the people just surfing for information and are not ready to make a purchase. Regardless of the reason, this traffic doesn’t convert into sales.
Buyer keywords are the keywords used by people ready to whip out their credit cards. This group of people have done all the research, know what they want and now all they want to do is buy XYZ. These are the kinds of keywords you should be targeting. Buyer keywords represent a psychological pattern of “willingness to buy”.

For some people understanding how backlinks can greatly improve your sites’ presence on the web can be a confusing topic. So based on that I wanted to talk a bit today about backlinks and how they can boost your web presence. These ideas will also play a role as you do your keyword research and if you haven’t seen our tutorial on that here at 21stcenturymarking.org then just look under the SEO category and you’ll find it there.
Backlinks are simply links placed on a website that point back to yours. Not all backlinks are created equal some are Nofollow and some are not. More about that in another post. But in essence having backlinks is a good thing because it tells the search engines, “Hey this website is cool, come check it out”. It helps to give your site some value and when google sees that your site has some value you’ll be rewarded with a better ranking.

Learning how to increase google page rank isn’t as hard as you might think. The first step is to create a plan in order to do so. It’s pretty hard to increase your google page rank, if you do not know where you are, or where you want to be. It is fairly well known that in order to score well on google you need 2 things.
Great Content
Solid Back links and One Way Links Pointing at Your Site
Take any one out of the equation and you can kiss your traffic goodbye. We have already taken an In-Depth look at proper keyword research which should help you in creating great content. If you haven’t seen it then just click the above and it’ll take you directly there.
The purpose of this post is to look at ways to increase google page rank. First again like I said you need a plan, that starts with where you are now and where you would like to be. Now don’t go crazy with a plan like go from page rank 0 to page rank rank 8 in 30 days, this unrealistic. Aiming for a high page rank is a great goal, but if your starting out, achieving a task like obtaining a high page rank is best done by aiming for and achieving mini goals.

Today I decided to expand on my keyword research tutorial by going into more detail about finding and using effective keywords properly. I’ve received a lot of questions on how to apply this and after giving it some thought I decided to do something not a lot of affiliate marketers do, and that is show you a real live example of a niche I decided to try and promote.
The reason is to show you exactly how I did my keyword research using another practical example. In the main keyword research tutorial I used the keyword ideas behind keyword marketing research as the example but this time we are going to look at an actual niche. Again this is something that I haven’t seen any affiliate marketer do, but I am going to break that mold so that the new guy trying to make money online or an affiliate marketer that is struggling his face off to try and make more then 100 bucks a month can see exactly how all this applies to a real niche.
Again finding and using profitable keywords isn’t hard to do, but it does require work, and I’m going to show you exactly how I did it and explain why I did it. Now you might be thinking I will be shooting myself in the foot since I will be revealing one of my niches. Well, if I do oh well, there’s still 100’s of others niches to work.
I started this exercise off on May 1st. I also wanted to start this off with a niche I know nothing about or have ever marketed before, so in essence I am starting right from scratch just like a newbie internet marketer.
Step One – I need a Niche. Now there are lots of resources for finding ideas, the main 2 I use are;
